Meadow Loop Trail Update
Litter Pick-up Sunday December 19th
Posted: December 15th, 2010 @ 9:14pm
The Meadow Loop Trail (located at 879 Lindbergh Drive NE [along the North Fork Peachtree Creek,
on the south side of Lindbergh Drive just
before the I-85 overpass) is ready for winter walking. Community volunteers have
spread a thick layer of pine straw and leaves (more than 250 bags) along the path
to ensure a pleasant and dry walking experience. Bring your children, spouses, partners,
friends and 4-footed companions. You will thoroughly enjoy your walk!!
And help keep the trail clean by coming to a special litter pick up on Sunday, December
19, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Meet at the guard rail. Trash bags will be provided.
AND, while spreading the leaves and pine straw, we have accumulated more than 150
perfectly useful heavy duty lawn bags. They are available curbside at Rich Sussman's
house at 2278 Pembrook Place NE The bags with rips and holes have been recycled.
