TOWN CENTER Land Use change

This issue is being put forth by the DeKalb Planning Department to extend the Town Center Land Use category throughout the entire area of the Garvin study. This would bring the possibility of much higher density development to the intersection of NDH and Briarcliff, though no actual projects are being proposed besides the redevelopment of the old Bell South tower property. I have attached the County file which includes maps of the area. This issue was DEFERRED by the Planning Commission on Sept. 1st and will be heard by the Board of Commissioners on Sept. 22nd at 6:30pm in the Maloof Auditorium 1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur.
