** MULTI-NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNITY EFFORT
LaVista Park needs YOU to participate in an ongoing multi-neighborhood workday to clean-up and create Kittredge Park!
This week we will be clearing Kudzu at the area identified for playground space at the Holly Lane entrance. We will walk there from Kittredge Drive entry, or you can drive directly there.
You are invited to participate in a community wide cleanup of Kittredge park, the second Sunday of every month from 10:00am-1:00pm, until further notice.
Tools will be provided by Dekalb, but your own are always appreciated (please label them in case of misplacement). Wear long sleeves and long pants. Also, people are always needed for sign-in, refreshments, directions, etc.
Please come in appropriate attire. Your presence, even for part of the program, shows our elected officials that we are truly interested and invested in this project.
You can come by car and park at the Kittredge Pool (behind the International School formerly the Magnet School) or you can enter by foot from the entrance on Holly Lane. At both locations there will be signs directing people where to go.
