RE-IMAGINING SHALLOWFORD, a Public MeetingApril 25, 2010 @ 10:14am
Same project, NEW DATE -- May 22, still at St Pius HS ...

The commercial area around the Shallowford/ I-85 interchange was designated a "neighborhood center". The civic associations to either side of the interchange have been working together and with Commissioner Rader to find a way to develop a plan for the area. The first step is a public meeting on Saturday, May 22. We need everyone's opinion of what's good and what could be better. Please come; bring and interested neighborhood or two. And please distribute this message through your networks.

RE-IMAGINING SHALLOWFORD, a Public Meeting

How will the Shallowford / I-85 commercial area ("neighborhood center") look in 10-20 years?
What would you like to have happening there?
What would make your neighborhood, your home, your business more valuable in the long run?
Everyone's input is valuable; we are a diverse community with varying needs.

BE THERE for this first meeting to develop a plan for the commercial core area ... our "village".

This commercial area is of importance to everyone who uses the Shallowford exit.
REALTORS, encourage other Realtors you work with to participate.
BUSINESS OWNERS, you're CRITICAL to this process.

Date: Saturday, May 22, 2010
Time: Registration/ Coffee starting at 8:30am. Meeting proper 9:00-noon
Location: St Pius X High School library. Take the I-85 southbound access road; right on Plaster, right on Johnson. Enter at 2674 Johnson Road (30345) and circle right; look for signs.

Sponsors: TABASCO Coalition (primarily NBCA & DECA) & Commissioner Jeff Rader
