The commercial area around the Shallowford/ I-85 interchange was designated a "neighborhood center". The civic associations to either side of the interchange have been working together and with Commissioner Rader to find a way to develop a plan for the area. The first step is a public meeting on Saturday, May 22. We need everyone's opinion of what's good and what could be better. Please come; bring and interested neighborhood or two. And please distribute this message through your networks. RE-IMAGINING SHALLOWFORD, a Public Meeting How will the Shallowford / I-85 commercial area ("neighborhood center") look in 10-20 years? What would you like to have happening there? What would make your neighborhood, your home, your business more valuable in the long run? Everyone's input is valuable; we are a diverse community with varying needs. BE THERE for this first meeting to develop a plan for the commercial core area ... our "village".
