| FKP Formalizes its Organization | March 9, 2010 @ 10:17pm | The stakeholders of Friends of Kittredge Park met on March 9th to plan out 2010 and vote on a set of Bylaws for incorporation.
4 residents of Merry Hills Homeowners Association, 2 from North Druid Hills Residents Association, one from North Amanda Circle, and myself representing LVPCA reviewed the final version of the Bylaws and voted unanimously to approve the document in principle, pending review by our lawyer, of minor changes. With that settled, the interim officers were voted in to serve a full term.
Dan Wright of NDHRA was elected President; Bill Lide of NAC was elected Secretary; and Alexis Neill of NDHRA was elected Treasurer.
Besides the monthly invasive species clean up, we are now planning to have another major spring event set for May 23rd (rain or shine). FKP will unveil the finished Master Plan, and hope to beat last years turn out of 70 workers. We hope to again provide food and entertainment for the volunteers. We will have FKP t-shirts for sale at $15 each, unless sold out.
