Kittredge Park Master Plan PresentationMay 18, 2010 @ 8:57am
LaVista Park needs a big show of support May 23rd. If we want to remain involved in decisions at Kittredge Park, please plan to attend.

Invasives clean up starts at 10am, tools provided by DeKalb. 11:30 to 12:30pm there will be food, music, Park officials, and politicians to view the final Master Plan on site.

Friends of Kittredge Park, of which I am the LVPCA representative, will be meeting with the consultants early in June to comment on our priorities of how the County funds are to be spent. Currently the budget should allow the Spine road/parking and bridge to be built for safety and access. The area of the Holly Lane playground and community garden will be cleared. One shelter is anticipated to be built, location to be determined.
We need your feedback on what features will draw you to the park.

SHOW THE COUNTY WE ARE INTERESTED IN THE PARK AND WANT TO MAKE IT USABLE NOW! Last years event drew 70+ people, we need 100 to attend this year, the worst situation is to be outnumbered by County officials. That would continue to keep us on the back burner.
