| Lavista Road Improvements | February 3, 2012 @ 9:00am | I've been out of the loop, does anyone know status of work on Lavista?
There has been a crew (GDOT, DeKalb, or GC?) walking and surveying the length of LaVista Road from Briarcliff Road toward Atlanta this week. They dug out and marked the corners of my property, and I suspect others.
GDOT had noted on their website 2 years ago that sidewalks were scheduled but unfunded for the south side of LaVista, they even indicated proceeding with right-of-way purchase, but I have not been contacted.
Is this latest survey related to that program?
I do see progress on the Briarcliff/LaVista intersection. There has been considerable activity there in the last few months. Pavement markers have been painted to show areas to be cut for turn lanes. Anybody know the schedule for construction? |
