LAVISTA PARK CIVIC ASSOCIATION (LVPCA) MEMBERSHIP

PURPOSE
The purpose of the Association shall be to unite homeowners and residents in their mutual desire to preserve the beauty, peacefulness, and residential character of the LaVista Park neighborhood.  In keeping with that goal, the Association shall strive to:
(1) create an on-going sense of community and positive identity for the LaVista Park neighborhood; 
(2) ensure a pre-existing organization capable of taking swift action when needed to protect the mutual goals of the association;  
(3) alert members to proposed zoning changes or similar governmental action that may impact the LaVista Park neighborhood; and 
(4) plan and execute appropriate action on behalf of the members of the Association as deemed necessary.

WHO CAN JOIN?
Membership in the LaVista Park Civic Association (LVPCA) is open to persons 18 years of age or older who own or reside in single-family houses, duplexes, condominiums, or townhouses within the boundaries of the LaVista Park neighborhood. Membership is on a household basis.

OW TO JOIN?
  1. Download a registration form* and send us your name, address, daytime and evening telephone numbers, email address and check to the REGISTRAR, LaVista Park Civic Association, P.O. Box 244190, Atlanta, GA 30324-2404.  *Download a PDF brochure.

  2. You can pay online by accessing the Purchase a Civic Association Membership Page of the LaVista Park website and making your payment via PayPal.

PECIAL OFFERS IN 2009
Homeowner Associations (HOA) Special Rate
    • All HOA’s in LaVista Park who are incorporated with the Secretary of State and classified as “active and compliant” are being offered the rate of $140 per home with 100% membership participation.
First Time Members Prepay Incentive
    • First time members who join and prepay early (April/May) will receive the extra time as “complimentary” to the 12 month membership term.
Referral Program
    • For each new member existing members sign up, name will be entered into a raffle drawing. Winner be announced at the July 16 General Meeting.
    • Sign up five new first time members and receive membership for FREE!
    • A gift card will be presented in July to the person signs up the most first time new members.

OST OF MEMBERSHIP?
Subscription dues are $185 per year per household and are renewable/payable on June 1.
The fiscal year for LVPCA is June 1 through May 31.

HY JOIN?
The biggest reason to join is to support your neighborhood. Without your support, the LPVCA could not fund the private Security Patrol, the website, the crime alerts, the newsletter, social gatherings, or do any of the things they do to preserve the neighborhood and make it a better place to live.
